Michael Tallino

Born and raised in Alaska, baritone Michael Tallino is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Opera Performance at Arizona State University. Besides a multitude of school productions, this year he sang the Director in Poulenc’s Mamelles de Tiresias, Arturo in the orchestral premiere of Behold the Man by Fowler and Flack, and Prince Igor and Prince Galitsky in Russian Opera Workshop’s production of Prince Igor by Borodin. In previous years he sang a number of roles such as Marullo in Rigoletto, Dancairo in Carmen and Pish-Tush in Mikado with Anchorage Opera. Michael will return to the Anchorage stage this spring to sing Schaunard in Anchorage Opera’s production of La Boheme.
